Beschreibung

On this easy winter hike, you walk down from the Curnius mountain station to Falera and enjoy the continuous view of the winter mountain landscape around Falera. You reach the starting point from Falera by chairlift. Paid parking spaces are available on the edge of the village, but arriving by public transport is also easy thanks to the PostBus and the Flims Laax Falera shuttle.


Before you start your way back down to the valley, a stop at Tegia Curnius is recommended. Here you can enjoy the finest Grisons specialties such as Maluns, mountain cheese, Salsiz, or dried meat. You then hike down to Falera on a well-marked path. Along the way, you pass several benches inviting you to gaze into the distance and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Starting points for the winter hike are the valley stations in Laax or Falera, from where you can take the cable car to Curnius. Once there, the sunny winter hiking trail starts below the chairlift and leads you to Falera.

By car via the A13 motorway from Zurich, exit 18 towards Disentis/Mustér/Ilanz/Flims.
