Beschreibung

On this route, you can proudly count the altitude meters. It starts already in pure nature through the romantically wild Flüela valley, which forms the connection to Engadin. From Susch, the ride leads through Rhaeto-Romanic Engadin villages with the unique Engadin Sgraffiti - scratch art made from lime plaster - on the house walls. Not only the villages are worth seeing, but also the breathtaking landscape with the Upper Engadin lakes. At the top of Engadin in Maloja, the winding roads begin. First over the Maloja Pass downhill into Bergell across the border to Chiavenna, then back up to the Splügen Pass. Look forward to tight hairpin bends and panoramic views as you cross the border between Switzerland and Italy.

You should treat yourself to a break in Chiavenna, the town center lures with a long history and typical restaurants. The dolce far niente atmosphere provides a mood-boosting contrast to the curve chase, and the gelato or espresso is a refreshing treat.

From Splügen, the route continues through the Hinterrhein area with the impressive Viamala Gorge and through the castle-rich Domleschg to Thusis. Even from Thusis, the route continues to fascinate with gorges and bridges. Via the Landwasser Valley, you return to Davos.

Geheimtipp

End the day at Bolgen Plaza with a Monsteiner beer and reminisce about the unforgettable moments of the motorcycle route.
