Wegbeschreibung
The circular route starts at the Maloja Posta bus station. At the former studio of the painter Segantini, we turn right off the main road and climb through the loose pine forest to the Torre Belvedere. The tower was once part of a castle with which the Belgian Count Renesse wanted to develop Maloja into a top European destination. Today, the tower stands alone in a nature reserve with raised bogs and glacial potholes from the last ice age.
After a long look down into Bregaglia, we follow the path that winds its way north and east and leads back to the village on the main road after just under an hour.
