Beschreibung
If you're looking for a short hike with a bit of a challenge, the Maloja-Palza circular route is just the right thing. It starts from the Giacometti Sport car park and climbs briefly from the Chiesa Bianca towards the Aela slope, before descending back down to the lake. Once again you pass the Chiesa Bianca and return to the car park. A real test course!
Geheimtipp
The Chiesa Bianca was part of the Belgian Count Renesse's concept for Maloja. Other buildings which were part of this concept are for example the Palace Hotel and the Belvedere Tower.

Maloja, from the parking lot at Giacometti-Sport, the path leads through Via Belagio. Shortly before the Chiesa Bianca, turn right uphill towards Aela. At about 1910 m the highest point is reached and the path leads back down to the lake shore. When you arrive at the lake, turn left along the lakeshore back to Maloja.
