The first mountaineering village in Switzerland
The small Walser settlement of St. Antönien is located at 1450 m in the middle of a fantastic mountain world. The valley is a well-known hiking and ski touring paradise and at the same time the starting point for fascinating circular tours in the Rätikon area. A variety of peaks invite you to enjoyable ascents and wonderful descents. A favourite among the winter hiking trails is the approximately 9.5 km long route via the "Bodähütte" to Pany.

Three museums are united in Klosters: The Nutli Hüschi local history museum, the Rohrmühle and the Schröder Schmitte.

St. Antönien offers a stage for mountaineers, peace seekers and nature lovers in all seasons and nature lovers and nature-oriented tourism has a long tradition here. These are two of the reasons why St. Antönien is the first mountaineering village in Switzerland.

Being a mountaineering village is an award for the tireless commitment of the St. Antönier to a careful handling of nature, to a dynamic village with lived traditions and to an active social life. At the same time, it is a commitment to continue to take care of these values – so that St. Antönien remains livable and lovable.

Classified as a monument of national importance and listed as a listed speaker's house, it was carefully restored from 2007 to 2012 with the participation of the preservation of historical monuments. The baroque manor house is largely in its original condition.
