Der glasklare Partnunsee

The first mountaineering village in Switzerland
The small Walser settlement of St. Antönien is located at 1450 m in the middle of a fantastic mountain world. The valley is a well-known hiking and ski touring paradise and at the same time the starting point for fascinating circular tours in the Rätikon area. A variety of peaks invite you to enjoyable ascents and wonderful descents. A favourite among the winter hiking trails is the approximately 9.5 km long route via the "Bodähütte" to Pany.

Cosy mountain huts and restaurants also invite you to pamper not only the eyes, but also the palate.

In summer, a well-developed network of hiking trails offers opportunities in all directions. Be it to the Ascharineralp, to the Meierhofer Älpli, to the Gafia Valley, to Partnun, to the summit of the Sulzfluh or across the border into the Montafon. In St. Antönien you will also find via ferratas and several alpine climbing gardens on Lake Partnunsee and at the Gruoben Pass. Bikers are welcome, signposted routes offer numerous tour options. In winter, it is a popular starting point for all ski tourers. Whether on skis or snowshoes, our tour guides will be happy to accompany you on an unforgettable tour through the deep snow up to the fantastic mountain peaks. At the Junker ski lift and the children's lift, both the small and sporty piste racers get their money's worth. Whether skating or classic, you can do your laps on the Aschüel trail with a magnificent view.

You can spend peaceful hours on the shores of the crystal-clear Partnun or Carschina Lakes: take a leisurely ride in the rowing boat, have a barbecue or experience the magic of a swim in the mountain lake.

Overnight guests benefit from the Pany-St. Antönien-Card offers various discounts and free services. Check directly with the host of your choice.
