Beschreibung

From the village of San Bernardino, after a short climb, you reach Fornas; from there, continuing through a forest that seems enchanting, you climb to the top of Furestin, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view that sweeps over the San Bernardino area at 360 °. The circuit then continues as a path characterized by a continuous exciting up and down, passing through marshes and peat bogs. Once in Fregeira, you climb up along the Valley of Silence, a bucolic place where peace is particularly perceptible. Shortly thereafter, the effigy of Alpe Piandoss stands out before your eyes, where hospitality and good food are at home.

The return to San Bernardino from the Alpe is possible in just over half an hour, choosing between two itineraries. The first continuing towards Piz Uccello, the second descending towards the beautiful Lake Doss.

Both from the north and from the south, the Moesano can be reached by rail and postbus connections (from the north: Zurich - Chur train, then postbus; from the south: Chiasso - Bellinzona train, then postbus).

Direct routes connect the village of San Bernardino to the capital of Ticino, Bellinzona, and to that of the canton of Graubünden, Chur.
