Beschreibung
On the Baseggla, white coarse-grained sandstones lay on top the red Verrucano. They are part of the Triassic succession and formed on the edge of an ocean. Along layer boundaries, the sandstones disintegrate into slabs as a result of weathering, tempting the construction of an entire family of small cairns.
