The first stage of the Avers mule track leads from Thusis through the legendary Viamala Gorge to Zillis and on to Andeer. In Zillis, the world-famous painted church ceiling from the 12th century delights guests from near and far. In Andeer, the water in the mineral bath offers rest and relaxation.

The path leads us either via the Traversinersteg (mountain hiking trail) or through the Verlorenes Loch (longer section of the path on an asphalt road) to the famous Viamala Gorge. The hike continues via Reischen to Zillis. The church of St. Martin from the 12th century with the world-famous church ceiling is worth a visit. On 153 excellently preserved panels, the life of Christ and an entire medieval world view are depicted. Once you have booked a room in Andeer, the hike continues through the dreamy villages of Donat and Clugin to the well-known seaside resort of Andeer.
