Snowshoe route Maloja - Cavloc - Plan Canin

The route starts at the Orden car park, opposite Villa Baldini. First, it goes fairly flat along the small road to Salecina. After the bridge, the path turns left from the winter hiking trail and leads well marked but unpaved through the snow-covered forest to Lägh da Cavloc. There the path splits and makes a loop towards Fornotal up to just before Plan Canin.
Back at Cavloc Lake, you can either choose the same route or strap on the snowshoes and follow the winter hiking trail back to the starting point.

Since the Ristorante Cavloccio is not open in winter, it is recommended to bring a snack...

Before reaching Lägh da Cavloc, the winter hiking trail must be crossed once again. Over the frozen Cavloc Lake, you then reach the unfortunately closed Ristorante Cavloc. There the path splits and makes a loop towards Fornotal up to just before Plan Canin.

Back at the lake, you can either choose the same route or strap on the snowshoes and follow the winter hiking trail back to the starting point.
