The Tällihorn is one of the longer ski routes among the many touring options in the sunny Safiental. Passing cozy alpine huts and large boulders, you reach the magnificent summit.

In Safien Thalkirch, at the old post office, you can put on your skis immediately behind the last houses. After a good three hundred meters of ascent, you reach the huts of Alp Tscheurig at 2004 meters above sea level. The terrain then tends to get a bit steeper and the first large boulders protrude from the snow cover. This rock and scree-strewn landscape requires sufficient snow. Otherwise, the "stone grinding" on the ski base is guaranteed and passage is unfavorable.
Due to the steepness, the summit slope requires good route choice. Those who make it will be rewarded with a phenomenal panorama.
The descent is preferably made via the ascent route.
Geheimtipp
The route is also feasible from Bäch or Turrahus. These variants are longer and/or have more elevation gain.
Sicherheitshinweis
Ski and snowshoe tours in unprotected terrain require good knowledge in assessing avalanche danger and tour planning. Additionally, a complete safety equipment must always be carried - regardless of the current avalanche danger.

Anfahrt
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Take the train to RhB station Versam-Safien. Continue by postbus almost to the final stop "Thalkirch, old post office"
Anreise Information
Drive from Chur or Ilanz to Versam. Then turn into Safiental and continue to Safien Thalkirch.
Winter equipment required.
Parken
There are several parking spaces in front of the church.
Further parking spaces are located about 500 meters earlier, directly at the road near Malönja.
