This snowshoeing tour shows impressively what violence avalanches can have: it leads to the Val Meltger hut, which was built twelve meters above the ground because of the snowmass. Lonely forest trails and a panorama to Mon and Stierva are further highlights of the trail.

The snowshoe hike to Val Meltger offered a great view of the mountain scenery, was pleasant to walk, and was only slightly challenging in a few places. In addition to the Val Sporz snowshoe hike, this route is also an ideal tour for beginners who want to stand on snowshoes for the first time and try it out.
Wegbeschreibung
The starting point of this snowshoeing round tour is the town hall in Lantsch/Lenz. From there, follow the winter hiking path towards Roland Arena Lenzerheide. After arriving there, you will enter the forest via the cantonal street. Continue to Vasternos and the suspension bridge Val Meltger before returning to the starting point.

Arrival by train to Chur, then transfer directly to the PostautoGraubünden buses to reach Lenzerheide within 30 minutes and another ten minutes to Lantsch/Lenz.
