Beschreibung

From Ilanz, the route leads along the young Rhine via Schluein to Sagogn. In Sagogn, the route follows the forest road down to the Rhine. The lowest point of the route is reached at the Valendas / Sagogn railroad station. You then tackle the ascent to Dutjen. The trail leads through Valendas with the largest wooden well in Europe and many well-preserved manor houses from the 17th century. The ascent is on an asphalt road with little traffic. The hamlets of Unterdutje and Oberdutje all still belong to Valendas. At the highest point, Cuolm Sura, a unique view of Val Lumnezia and the entire Bündner Oberland and the Rhine Gorge awaits us. We are also rewarded with a view of a beautiful high moor, which lies between many small scattered meadows. A long descent on easy roads and an easy section of singletrack leads through Riein and Sevgein back to Ilanz.

The tour is gradually signposted with the name “Signina Bike”.
