Beschreibung

Starting from the poschiavo railway station you reach the Via dei Palazzi, a district entirely built in neoclassical style.

At the end of the avenue continue straight, past the San Sisto hospital, in the direction of Cologna, and then descend towards Prada. Take the so-called "Praderia", the secondary road that crosses the green meadows and the crops of aromatic herbs used to produce herbal teas, until you reach Pagnoncini, Canton and finally Le Prese.

Rhaetian Railway

Over 100 years ago, the Bernina Line was inaugurated. The direct train from St. Moritz to Tirano ran for the first time in 1910: 61 kilometers of refined construction engineering through the landscape from which stands the highest mountain in Graubünden. The line connects the impressive glaciers of Palü and Morteratsch to the Mediterranean dolce vita in the southernmost part of the valley.
