Via Energia nature trail

What is meant by energy? How is electricity generated from hydropower? And what is meant by sustainable electricity production? Answers in German and Italian are provided by 11 interactive information boards along the educational trail. In text form, as 3D graphics, with animations and, for all those who like to demonstrate their knowledge, in the form of quiz questions. The information points are each dedicated to a specific topic from the categories of energy, climate change, hydropower and electricity production.

Hiking with Pluschin

Pluschin ensures that children get just as much out of the adventure trip as their older companions. He is a small drop of water and the main character of the search quiz along the Via Energia. A mini picture book tells the story of Pluschin's rapid journey through reservoirs, water pipes and turbines. Embossed stamps on the Via Energia information boards are transferred to the picture book one after the other. Anyone who follows Pluschin's journey to the end will not only find the solution word, but will also receive a little surprise. The mini picture book can be obtained from the tourist information offices in Poschiavo and Pontresina. It is also available from the Albergo Ospizio Bernina.

Safety note: The Via Energia can only be completed with a baby carriage from Ospizio Bernina to Alp Grüm.
